Aussie made legend ‘wait for it’ ary performance and super efficient 5*

Working very well

by

We were looking at a Travelmate and Waeco but saw this at the Easter show. So far it has worked very well and running at just over 2 amps per hour.

Great fridge but just need to improve quality control.

Bought the DU75-DZ fridge freezer at Tent World Midland yesterday 31/5/21. Opened up the box of the DU75-DZ as soon as I got home and was pretty stoked with it. Until I noticed one screw securing the fan cover was sticking out. Grabbed my screw driver and tried to tighten the screw thinking it was just loose but it wasn’t, a wrong size screw was used and luckily I have a screw that fit so was able to fix it. Noticed the latch locking the right compartment was also loose but was fixed by just tightening the screws. The latch lock on the left compartment was also loose and it was due to the pin connecting the two parts of the latch was not properly installed, I fixed this as well but don’t think it will last. It’s good that Evakool has a 3 year warranty on this fridge freezer for my peace of mind. Other than the three issues above I am pretty happy with the fridge. Will get the protective cover some other time as it will cost me another $199. <<< RESPONSE FROM EVAKOOL: Thank you for your feedback Alvin. We have made some tweaks to our production line & QC process since your fridge was manufactured, to rectify this issue. We hope you take some epic adventures around Australia with your new Down Under Series Fridge/Freezer and appreciate your support of our new Australian made range! >>>

Awesome fridge!

Awesome fridge!! Received it the next day from Evakool direct. This fridge is super well built, extremely sturdy and looks fantastic! Didn't bother getting a cover as it looks great without it on and will be in a enclosed drawer any way.
You can hardly hear the fridge running and cools up quicker than my Engel and Waeco.
And the best thing it's made and designed right here in Aus!!!
