Introducing the most ingenious & versatile portable 12V/24V Dual Temperature Fridge & Freezer from EvaKool.  It combines the renowned insulated fibreglass cabinet of the EvaKool Ice Box with the world's best refrigeration compressor as manufactured by Danfoss.

The EvaKool Dual Temperature Fridge & Freezer is ideal for use in many situations, including 4WD, camping, RV vehicles, yachts, trucks, buses - in fact anywhere where low voltage is in use and low power usage is required.

Exclusively used by Australian Off-road Campers.   Exclusively used by O'Brien's Off-road Trailers

  Features

Australian designed & built	We had the hot and  rugged Australian outback in mind when we designed it.
Molded fibreglass construction	Extremely strong & light , can be used as a seat. The box itself has a high gloss skin which has the ability to reflect heat and also makes it extremely easy to clean. Just use warm soapy water and all smells are washed away (inc fish and spilt milk). With the inner and outer skins it means no joints and no where to house bacteria.
Insulation	Evakool® Polyal-ISO SPF is used which is a high density refrigeration foam. It has been specially developed by the manufacturers and Evakool  and it is not available to anyone else. The weather will not trouble this fridge as at 43oC this fridge still runs at -19oC which is a 63oC difference (independent test done on RF47).
Reliable Performance	Powered by Danfoss which is considered to be the best 12/24V compressor in the world.
Heavy-Duty Suspension	Designed for trouble free "off road" performance.
Ingenious & Versatile Fridge/Freezer	Operates as a fridge & a freezer in the same cabinet. A movable divider allows variation in size of freezer/fridge compartments. You can also use  the unit as a whole fridge or whole freezer depending on the dial setting.
Quiet Operation	Will not keep you awake at night.
Low Voltage Protection	Prevents batteries from draining completely. We are able to tailor low voltage cut out to your specific requirements. If for example you have dual batteries in your vehicle, we can reduce the cut out from 10.4v to 9.6v giving you around 15-18 additional hours of fridge use. NOTE : This is only available to fridge owners who purchased their fridges before 2007 as all fridges manufactured after this time have the 9.6V setting.
Light Weight	Easy to lift! The 60Lt. Fridge Freezer only weighs 18.5 Kg. (The same size in many other models are up to 35kg.)

Economy/Normal Switch	Run on economy and use the normal switch for quick freezing.
LED Lights	Indicates when cycling is occurring, power is on and where a fault is occurring.
Baskets	Standard in all models, both for fridge and freezer compartments.
Fuse Protected	For the extremes of your power supply.
Nylon detachable hinges	Designed by us and made to our own moulds. They are extremely strong , comfortable and hygienic.  The lid is removable for ease of cleaning and loading and it also leaves no where for germs to build up and smell to come from. The lid also automatically detaches if there is too much force pushed back on the lid while it is open preventing damage to the box.
Nylon Handles and Tie Downs	Designed for strength and comfort. Molding to the shape of the fingers preventing cutting & crushing of fingers. These can be used in conjunction with our tie downs to secure the fridge down tight.
Computerized diagnostic System	A self diagnostic system which is able to detect faults in the system and communicate with a number of flashes using the fault light.
Marinising	If the fridge is to be used in an environment where there is going to be a high level of salt water (e.g. on a boat), then a marinising procedure can be applied  for a small charge.

As a result of Evakool's stringent quality control and following the identification of certain visible imperfections, certain fridges have been graded as factory seconds. Included in factory seconds are Ex-demo units which have been used for a short amount of time at shows and also in our showroom. These imperfections are purely aesthetic in nature (e.g. superficial hairline cracks or gelcoat discolouring) and DO NOT affect the insulation properties or performance of the fridge , qualities for which Evakool is world renowned. The compressor and all electronics still carry the full warranty of a new unit.

Limited quantities of Factory seconds can be viewed and purchased from the factory. Prices of factory seconds are dependant on the individual unit.

As is possible to see in the above image the Evakool Fridge not unlike the FridgeMate has become a three in one compartment. This means the ability to run the fridge in separate ways including :- Full Fridge , Full Freezer or both as a fridge and a freezer at the same time (Dual-Temperature). With the movable divider and two baskets it has made the Evakool range of fridges hard to pass by.

While the results will vary for the other models, this is the typical power consumption of the RF47-DT model, when the motor is running;

• Economy: ~2.1 Amps/Hr (25 Watts)
• Normal: ~3.8 Amps/Hr (46 Watts)

Cycling occurs when the set temperature is reached allowing the following average power consumption.

Variations occur depending on contents , ambient temperature and humidity.  The EvaKool Dual Temperature Fridge & Freezer can be adjusted for the required temperature with maximum efficiency by using the 'normal/economy' switch in conjunction with the temperature control and a moveable divider.

Freezer temperature settings determine the fridge temperature.
